Created by myself, Izzy Watson and Yarrow Spillane, 'A Show' questions what it means to be in and the function of a theatre space. Complete with (the attempted mastery of) different dance styles, shower caps and lots of cardboard boxes, the piece explores techniques of DIY theatre and physical endurance, to create a highly visual, durational and interactive performance.
The piece also features and explores some of our own personal theatrical archive, collated from our time working together over the last three years; including a collection of texts, props and dance routines.
